“Online – Training will be delivered online using online platform, with resources developed by FAST College
Self-Paced – Students will be required to complete activities in their own time and will be required to manage their own study
On-the-job/Work Based – Students will complete activities on the job, including activities that relate to assessments.”

All materials are benchmarked against the relevant units of competency; are reviewed as part of the validation strategies and meet the assessment requirements.”

  • Be over 18 years old
  • Current employment in a public aquatic center.
  • Be willing and able to complete an LLN Assessment demonstrating:
  • Reading and writing – a learner will be able to read, comprehend and write a range of texts within a variety of contexts.
  • Oral communication – a learner will be able to use and respond to spoken language including some unfamiliar material within a variety of contexts.
  • Numeracy and mathematics – a learner will be able to recognize and use a variety of conventions and symbolism of mathematics.
All students are eligible to apply for Recognition of Prior Learning and are advised of this on the back of the Enrolment Form , also refer to the Student Handbook for the policy and procedure on the process for RPL
